Our Story & Our Family
Laura Braga
Buongiorno (Hello) Gallatin!
Welcome to the Guilty Grind!
Many of you have been curious about me, so here’s a little introduction.
My name is Laura, and I’m from the beautiful city of Verona, Italy. I want to bring the traditions and savory flavors of my close-knit Italian family to the community of Gallatin. I began making Orecchiette pasta when I was about 5 years old. When I was growing up, it was common to have 30 family members in the kitchen all cooking together on the weekends.
My wonderful husband and I proudly own and operate The Guilty Grind. My culinary journey began in my teenage years, and since then, I have been driven by a deep passion for cooking that I inherited from my Italian grandmother and father. With their inspiration, I pursued further studies and honed my culinary skills, turning my love for cooking into a fulfilling career.
I have spent the past 20 years working in professional kitchens, and I wouldn't trade this experience for anything. I am a total culinary nerd with an unwavering love for this craft.
